HAROLD ALLISON BALDNER Peacefully, on July 25, 2001, after a brief illness, Harold Baldner went on to be with his Lord. Harold was born in Winnipeg on May 13, 1918. The things that were most important in his life were his relationship with God, his loving wife of 63 years, Catherine, family and friends, and his love for Lake of the Woods. Prior to his retirement in 1977, he was President of Robinson & Webber Limited. Besides his wife Catherine, Harold celebrated his life with his family Carolyn and Bob Keith, David and Darlene Baldner, both of Clearwater Bay, ON., and Les Baldner and Eve Barefoot of Vancouver Island; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, at Lakeside Baptist Church, (Transmitter Rd. and East Hwy.). In lieu of flowers donationscan be made to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation, 21 Sylvan St. West, Kenora, ON, P0X 1C0. The family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. Wm. Cameron and the hospital staff.
